Together with the EPOS team we designed the EXPAND VISION 1M as a meeting room camera for today’s smart office. The clean and minimal design integrates viewing angle adjustment features and installation options into a compact form factor. The design continues the formal approach of the EPOS video collaboration device design language. The privacy aspect is considered with a physical camera shutter solution. The circular red print on the shutter offers a clearly visible indication. The housing and the wall bracket are made out of metal, which makes the device more durable and elevates the perceived appearance. Despite all the options for adjusting the angle and depth of the device and having a physical privacy shutter solution, the design remains low in complexity. The animated light guides to signal the current device status enhance the perceived appearance and user experience.

The metallic details follow the two silicone variants Sunrise Orange and Midnight Blue and decisively enhance the appearance. The interesting surface treatment offers both visual and haptic benefits. The generous handle allows for safe, ambidextrous operation and houses a powerful motor and large battery for a pleasant relaxation experience.

In collaboration with Maxeon, we developed the SunPower Reserve, a modular product offering that allows solar energy storage for access to power when the user needs it. During the design process, attention was paid to a minimalist design without unnecessary frills.
In combination with the corresponding solar panels, the SunPower Reserve is an adaptable all-in-one solution that demonstrates full depth design quality, presented in a holistic and cohesive design ecosystem. The products blend into architecture and individual spaces with an intentionally simple yet refined design, offering users consistent quality in terms of design, performance and lifespan.

The EXPAND Control tablet serves as either a meeting room controller or a scheduling panel. Designed to work alongside the EPOS EXPAND range, it’s understated and minimal appearance allows the user an intuitive interaction with the admin side of hybrid working and conference calling without creating additional distractions. The tapered rear section of the device allows it to sit comfortably on a table as well as acting as a wall mount meaning the device can be integrated into any situation seamlessly, adapting to each user’s specific needs.

Intended for small meeting rooms, the EXPAND 5 is housed in a sleek and minimal casing, giving the perception of slick professionalism without drawing attention towards itself. Refined for simple installation and an uncluttered user experience, the design language leverages from the established approach for EPOS products, demonstrating a level of sophistication in the application of formal features such as the surface detailing and subtle branding.

SONORO GRAND ORCHESTRA en

With Sonoro, we developed the design for the Grand Orchestra, a pair of two-and-a-half-way floor-standing loudspeakers. With the rounded edges and the reduced front graphics, the loudspeakers fit seamlessly into the Sonoro product portfolio.
The angling of the front, top and back improves the acoustics, but at the same time leads to an interesting look. The loudspeakers stand on metal feet, which can be supplemented with spikes and dampers depending on where they are situated. The adjustment of the feet is held by a corrugation in the metal.

GRELL TWS/1
Product Design
In collaboration with grell audio we developed the true wireless in-ear headphones TWS/1 and the associated charging case made of aluminum.
The generous touch control surfaces made of glass are framed by a metal ring with a expressive chamfer, on which the product name and details are precisely laser engraved. The microphones are encased in a metal sleeve that is fluidly connected to the housing. The material and edge treatment are consistent across the in-ears and the charging case. The LED strip reinforces the precision of the design.
