The Sonoro Maestro is a hi-fi internet receiver that combines the advantages of the digital and analog audio world. The product is characterized by high quality, compact dimensions and a variety of functions and setting options both on the device and via the app. With the Maestro, Sonoro has added a new product type to its portfolio.
With this in mind, we have set the design focus on reduction, perceived value and evlution of the Sonoro product DNA. The front and the full metal control are are framed by the lacquered wooden housing that is typical of Sonoro products. The limitation of the physical interaction elements to the essentials enables intuitive usability and at the same time a new design approach for the device front. The honest handling of materials and production processes are the basic building blocks for the iconic and high-quality appearance of the Maestro.

In close collaboration with Vodafone we developed their 2019 flagship smartphone. As a result, the Vodafone Smart V10 comes with an expansive full-screen experience in a device of iconic elegance. Gracefully curved surfaces in sophisticated polished and satin metallic finishes create a modern and clean appearance. Iconic graphical elements such as the softly sculpted camera element on the back side and the side keys can be recognized even from a distance. The side keys emerge from the side flank in a continuously fluid way and the distinctive red power key embodies the design DNA of the Vodafone Smart V10 as an eye-catching detail.

Together with Vodafone’s design team we created the Vodafone Smart N10, that houses an immersive notched display normally found on much more expensive devices. Premium iridescent coatings provide shifting hues as light conditions change. A baby skin finish on the bold faceted texture provides a confident grip and a silky-smooth feel. The metal-plated side keys are connected to the housing with an innovative use of flexible polymer to ensure surface continuity, while providing tactile feedback. The metallic camera and flash cluster on the backside of the Vodafone Smart N10 results in a clearly distinctive design element.

In close cooperation with the Sennheiser Design Team we developed the Sennheiser GSP 670. This member of the Sennheiser GSP family is a wireless gaming headphone for the ambitious and professional player. With great attention to detail, ergonomics and materials have been carefully designed to enjoy long hours of play. Outstanding wearing comfort, the Sennheiser sound and the customization of the design DNA of the GSP 600 make this product a desirable wireless gaming headset. In addition, the development of topological elements and the integration of the metal yoke element with its iconic formal complexity impresses. As a result, this wireless gaming headphone forms a symbiosis of sophisticated functionality and iconic appearance.

Together with LWS, we have brought their highly efficient lowwind speed wind turbines into a modular yet aesthetic, iconic shape that blends well with modern urban landscapes. Due to their efficiency and independence from wind directions, this concept goes so far as to transform a light pole into a generator that enables self-sufficient street lighting that works independently of conventional infrastructures in less developed areas such as parks and suburban streets.

With Sennheiser we designed the wireless loudspeaker LSP 500 PRO PA system and set new standards in the world of sound & usability. Designed to obviate the need for cabling, the LSP 500 Pro can be used in systems of up to 20 speakers and remotely controlled from a mobile device such as an iPad running the dedicated app provided. Within a multi-speaker system, any speaker can be defined as the master device and wirelessly connected to the others. Incorporating a dual battery design, the system is capable of up to seven hours continuous operation.

When a baby is born, everything in the life of a young parent changes in life and at home. A radiator on the wrapping table should not be missed, as it provides necessary warmth to the newborn during wrapping and grooming. As many solutions on the market do not meet the requirements of a well-designed interior, we came up with the idea to develop this concept study. The radiator impresses with its minimalist design and modular construction, which allows both wall mounting and a standing solution.

The concept study Q1 formally balances between dynamically open freeform surfaces and clean closed areas. For us it was important to create a product aesthetic that is aspirational for the ambitious cyclist as well as for the relaxed city tourer. We use starch-based and biodegradable plastics in foamed and compacted form. The washable upholstery consists of three identical elements, which are interchangeable and thus always meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. The integrated taillight is removable and can be charged easily. It completes the formal solution of the Q1 helmet design and its practical application in daily use.
