Together with Sennheiser, we created the HD 630VB headphones for the audiophiles among us. A high quality headphone stereo product with amazing performance and cutting-edge features. The cutting-edge transducers provide clear, powerful sound reproduction, allowing you to hear the subtle nuances of your favorite music recordings. Additionally, the innovative bass dial allows you to decide how powerful the low end of your sound shall be. Its collapsible design — made of sturdy, high-quality materials– takes on the challenges of the on-the-go lifestyle.

In close collaboration with Sennheiser’s design team we developed the GSP 600, as their latest gaming flagship. With this professional gaming headset, the Sennheiser GSP series continues with the well-known Sennheiser sound quality and raises the bar by introducing innovative materials and features. The advanced metal yoke integration ensures sophisticated mechanics and perfect ergonomics. The headband features an innovative adjustable mechanism for customizable contact pressure. The cooling suede-like material of the ergonomically shaped ear pads prevents them from sticking to your skin even in longer gaming sessions. For superior team communication the GSP 600 features an advanced noise-cancelling broadcast quality microphone and mutes by simply lifting the boom arm up.

Together with Sennheiser we went on a journey into the “Gaming World”. The goal of the design development was to further develop the Sennheiser design language and apply it to the extreme area of gaming. In addition to the dynamic shape language, Sennheiser’s new gaming headsets GSP 300 & GSP 350 are characterized by a particularly robust and reliable design. The ball-and-socket joint integrated into the ear cups provides an excellent adaptation to the individual face and head shape of the user. The volume control is located on the right auricle and can be adjusted intuitively and on-the-fly. The noise canceling microphone minimizes background noise and allows crystal clear communication and full concentration during the game. To mute the boomarm, it can be simply turned upwards. With the GSP 350 you are diving even deeper into the gaming experience. The 7.1 Dolby Surround sound, which is controlled by a surround dongle (USB), brings even more realism into the game.

With Milky Mist Labs from Hong Kong we developed the Mixxeo VJ Mixer – a controller which puts
VJs in control of mixing video content by blending different video channels and effects, making it
incredible easy to perform live. The customizable Mixxeo user interface design provides simple and
intuitive controls for VJ artists. The easy to control button layout and stream-lined interface ensures
trouble-free performance in dark and loud surroundings even under the extreme pressure of
a live performance. The straight-forward interface complements the simplistic design approach of
the housing giving the user full control without any interferences.

With Shu Zi Jia Yuan Technology – a fast growing start-up company based in Beijing, China – we designed Qin Jian S1 – a new device approach for internet communication. Qin Jian S1 is a product designed to bridge generational gaps and to connect those living apart. With its puristic design, made from high-quality materials, S1 defines a totally new device archetype. While most modern smart devices are made for mobile use, Qin Jian S1 acts as an integral interior element for semi-mobile home-based communication. Qin Jian S1, with its 160° camera, affords effortless communication from voice to video calls; sharing lasting moments with loved ones. The tailor-made OS „Kinstalk“ not only interacts with the iconic round footprint of the lens, it achieves a symbiosis between UI and hardware design.

Qin Jian H1 is Kinstalk’s second product generation and follows with its circular screen the existing design language. The design combines the appearance of a piece of furniture with intelligent communication technology and fits perfectly into every household. A generous touch screen, noise reduction when receiving acoustic signals, powerful stereo speakers and a 150° camera allow intuitive interaction as well as video and voice calls with the family and friends in excellent quality. The tailor-made operating system “Kinstalk” interacts with the iconic round shape of the screen and thus achieves a symbiosis between UI and hardware.

In parallel to the hardware design of QIN JIAN S1, its docking station and accessories, we developed the brand identity and marketing material. We conducted in-depth competitive research and branding workshops with key stakeholders. Early in the process, three keywords were identified: Simple, Clean, Honest. These keywords became important elements in defining the brand’s identity. Furthermore, the aim to bridge generational gaps with this new product archetype added to the outline of a clean, but nevertheless familiar and recognizable logo and brand appearance. This conclusion was implemented into the packaging and other marketing material, such as the manual and all the stationary.
